this Collection
Contact me to sign up for instruction to learn to paint contemporary work in a Realistic Impressionist style. In addition color theory is taught and practiced. Classes include how to paint heads, figure painting, still lifes and enhancing landscapes from photos in oil paint. You will learn the principles of painting used by master painters.
Mr. Rotante teaches a method of oil painting for portrait and figure that emphasizes a color tone and mass lay-in which is useful for those with limited drawing skills. Students can and will create a head study with substantial finish in a very short time using this method.
Mr. Rotante has 40 years of painting experience. From work in advertsing in New York City to teaching at New York University and Glendale College Adult program in California. He is an award winning artist and has exhibited and sold in galleries in New York, San Francisco, Sacramento and Los Angeles. His work can also be found in several private collections. He is an artist member of the California Art Club and Oil Painters of America.
Classes will be held at BMAI Art Studio 2228 Florencita Drive, Montrose, Ca. Call 818-352-5760 for class schedules and supply list.
