California has experienced some cold weather lately. Having portable heaters in my studio has cause some interesting results having to paint fast in order to go back to the warmth of my home.

I've worked on ranches in New Mexico and Utah/Wyoming as a cowboy. These excursions have given me a wealth of information that hopefully I've captured on canvas. Many scenes are nocturnal. I'm fascinated by night light.
