Learn to Paint

Contact me to sign up for instruction to learn to paint contemporary work in a Realistic Impressionist style. In addition color theory is taught and practiced. Classes include how to paint heads, figure painting, still lifes and enhancing landscapes from photos in oil paint. You will learn the principles of painting used by master painters.

Rick Rotante has 40 years of painting experience. From work in advertsing in New York City to teaching at New York University and Glendale College Adult program in California. He is an award winning artist and has exhibited and sold in galleries in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.  His work can also be found in several private collections. Artist member of the California Art Club and Oil Painters of America.
Starting in March 2010, classes will be held at BMAI Art Studio 2228 Florencita Drive, Montrose, Ca. Call 818-352-5760 for class times and schedules.
